    74jax, fabulous dress!!!!

I love it. tried on loads and my friend picked this one out for me. I didn't like it at all off the peg and wondered what on earth she was doing :rotfl: but OMG tried it on and just loved it, it's so soft too and fits in perfectly with a beach theme. I first saw it about 5 months ago now, and was hopeful it would be discontinued and so in the sales at end of the season, but sadly not. Still I am going to give myself until around August this year to find it cheaper, then bite the bullet and buy it. Wedding isn't until June 2013, so i do have loads of time, but also as i know that's THE dress, I don't want to run the risk of waiting..... and waiting..... and missing out.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
  • I wish our wedding had a 3K budget! :rotfl: We are doing the full sit-down meal and all the other bits, but I guess I wouldn't change it for the world. :d

The catering is the BIG expense. Cut that way down and you can do it.

Also: Have fewer attendants. Buy dresses/veil/accessories from Monsoon/eBay. Don't bother with favours. Get friend/relative to drive you. Cake from M&S. Make your own invitations/stationery. Buy anything you can in the sales. Ask anyone you know who has a talent to do something for you as their wedding gift to you. I'm sure that it can be done with a little imagination.

    :)
