Barclaycard/Egg Successes

Hi

Foollowing two successful claims with MBNA and Nationwide I'm trying my luck with Barclaycard and Egg (Egg now being taken over by Barclaycard)

Just wondering if anyone had any successes with them? The first claims I did was so easy and quick I'm sure I won't be as lucky this time!!

Thanks

    Thank you,

Will update as and when I hear something. Fingers crossed!
  • I'm also trying to reclaim with Egg/ Barclaycard.. so far no news thus far other than them recieving my complait.. one month with barclaycard so far, i'm only hoping they are taking there time as i have had the card for so long it needs further investigating so they can make me a huge offer (ha ha!)

With egg, sent complaint to Egg originally but have reposted to Barclaycard just last week so waiting.

I'd be interested to see how you get on!
    :)

If I ever hear back will update post. Is there anyway you can receive emails when someone responds to your post as I never get any!

Barclaycard refused to uphold my complaint, so I've posted my details and case to FOS in the hope that they can take it further with some sucess.

How long did it take if you dont me asking? I sent my original beginning of January, I received a letter last week saying sorry its taking long, will reply no later than 28/02/2012 - Im not sure whether this is good news - surely if its a flat no it would be a quicker response? Or am I clutching at straws?!

I sent my letter on the 1st week of December. I then got a holding letter at the start of Jan apologizing for the delay, and stating that they would have a decision for me by the start of Feb. I then got a rejection letter dated the 23rd Jan. So I wouldnt put too much emphasis on the delay as being a sign of an upheld complaint.
