  • OK, so planning ahead I have already started making my own Christmas cards and gift tags and thought I would share my tip.....no pictures of them I'm afraid but give it a go anyway the results look great!

On gold card tape down a paper doily, then cover in craft spray paint (I went with white but other colours work too depending on your colour scheme).

Wait for the paint to dry before removing the doily (to avoid smudging)

This creates a snowflake/lace affect which makes the cards and tags look very expensive, I also added some red ribbon and jingle bells to make them look more traditional.

Give it a go, I have made so many and my total costs work out less than £10!

    :)

You can't buy that stamp from Sugar Nellie any more Macma - you have to get it sent from Elphine House Australia unless you're prepared to pay eBay mega bucks :o

    Lovely card Rusty :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

You can't get any of the Elisabeth Bell stamps from Funky Kits any more they're either Belles & Whistles or Elphine House. I won a couple from Elphine House and they're not quite as big as the original rubber ones although Daisy is almost the same size and they're clear ones.

The Wife Sorry to hear your son is still struggling, how is he getting on?

Rusty Have you adopted the cows? I'm sorry but I haven't had you figured as a farmer Giles type of gal ;) love the card btw

When does the challenge finish, I am determined to start making more cards, entering challenges and finally keeping up with you all on blob land :o I might have to start stalking you all on fb instead :D

How do you store your nesties etc, I have some in LOTV bags but others are too big and I seem to have lost some, I don't really want to spend too much on storage so not sure those magnetic thingies are for me!
