Scottish Power changed our meter reading dates last year so that it is in line with the 31st march end year date.
my readings are now taken 31 march 2012 which i can submit online so any new rates now fit in with our reading dates.works good for us i'm surprised other energy suppliers havent followed suit.0 -

A school just down the road from us has at least 110 panels fitted to its roof now (and not small panels either). Must have the superb benefit of (summer holidays excepted) being able to actually use any solar generated electricity at the time it is generated.

Not all suppliers accept readings outside of the quarterly months.
What I meant sly_dog_jonah was not send two readings separately, but on the day that you are due to send in a reading include >31st March as one, the other from your due end quarter; all within the same e-mail. I have been asked to do this by e-on who I am with, to enable them to calculate accurately.
No decimals in that bit then.2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

EDF's submission page only allows a single reading to be submitted, but it so happens that the quarter end date was March 31st. However as we were on holiday at the time I submitted early.
EDF suggested submitting as closely to the end of the month as possible to ensure the estimated reading on March 31st was as accurate as possible, so that the uprated FiT payment would be correct.
As it happens, submitting earlier in the month benefitted us as the last two weeks were exceptionally sunny so we probably beat the EDF estimate.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0
