Website to compare cheapest method of travel

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has come across a website which is able to take your journey (for example, mine is from Swindon to London), and then tell you the cheapest way to get there?

I'm looking to compare: trains, coaches and driving my car.

I have found one, namely: compareyourjourney.com
It's OK, but gets the coach station wrong each time.

My current method involves me manually going to websites, was hoping to speed the process up!

Reliably finding the cheapest route by public transport is impractical due to the complexity of the fares, for example:

• Return fares
• Point-to-point fares including connections (lots of them)
• A prohibition on traveling though the same station twice, with exceptions.

The crude method of picking the nearest coach station, railway station or airport will go wrong when the best route does not use them.
