How long are Lloyds TSB taking to pay out at the moment (January 2012)

I received a letter from Lloyds TSB on the 16th December with an offer. The letter said that the cheque would be sent in due course and that I didn't need to respond to accept the offer...
Phoned them today and they have simply passed on a request to their "customer services team" to say that i'd called to chase up...
How long did it take for you to receive your payment ??

ive been waiting since august for my money but i know there are ppl on here who have had it sooner so u maybe lucky good luck0
