    Oven mate is great, no smells. Pyrolytic is great too but makes a lot of smoke if it's really dirty, our house stank and set the smoke alarm off in the middle of the night (I do it then cos of economy 7, i guess it uses a lot of electricity but I won't clean it at night again after that!)

    Thanks, was wondering how i was going to clean the shelves.

    I put my shelves in the bath with hot water and fairy liquid, leave to steep a couple of hours then they scrub up easily.

    I have also used household ammonia in the plastic bin liner, left them overnight and they clean easily after that too, similar idea to the ovenmate/pride, probably cheaper though with the ammonia. Be careful with it though, don't breathe it in!
