It's better than £75

I *think* I may have just felt some movement! I was bending over to reach something an felt like a popping low down. It was really strong. I think LO may have objected to being squashed! I've been feeling little weird sensations on and off for about a week but this was stronger. Oh I really hope that was it!

Anyway after that bit of excitement I must dash as I have to go to Tesco.

Triangle - I spent £40 on mine so I think that is acceptable. I just went for one that I knew I wouldnt get bored of and wouldnt soon look like it had been dragged through a hedge backwards so I could get maximum use out of it.

Oh Emsbet that has so made me smile. It does feel like a weird popping sensation at first and a bit like air bubbles. I bet your grin is like the Cheshire Cat right now. Buy yourself a treat from Tescos!!

Oooh Emsbet i`ve checked our friends in common, and 1 of them has 5 mutual friends with me, and they r all my toddler group mummy friends! I think ur friend may be one of their daughters??? Also, ur friend that works at Holy trinity playgroup, my DD3 had her easter service with them last week

I'm back.

What a day - but first!!!

I would like a happy and an emsbet on fb please, please - have pm'd you both!

Oh and happy I would answer to "oi snoopy" in a newsagents, in fact I would probably say "what happy" lol

Diabetes appointment all good - except they upped my insulin again,but makes no diff to me.

Then we waited ages to see the consultant, and told him that hadn't felt baby move properly since yesterday lunch, that coupled with the fact that my BP is normally about 115/70 and today it was 140/95 made him send me to be monitored for 3 hours!

Baby was fine, good heartbeat but it took 3 hours for my BP to come down to a level where they would let me come home - 135/80.

Anyway before he sent me off to be monitored he said he wanted to feel my tummy and do an internal!

Felt tummy, did the internal and then said "your cervix is closed, but we will sort that, so he made it open, and then did a sweep!!! Yes you heard right a sweep!!!

I wasn't expecting it, and so I was reasonably relaxed, and felt ok with it, it certainly didn't hurt, and wasn't that uncomfortable, I wouldn't want it done regularly but it was manageable, but he did say I was "ripe" for it (horrible way to describe it lol)

He then said - lets see how you get on with that lol.

Then he proceeded to book me in to be induced (if his little bit of effort didn't produce resluts before then) for a week on weds, the 11th at 10am!

Oh my goodness me, big poops I am going to have a baby by next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a day x x x

Glad all is well with little Snoopy and yay for you having a ripe cervix! You must have been thrilled!!
So the countdown is on and you have a max of 9 days til your cuddles, unless of course, the sweep works a treat.
I'm still not sure whether I fancy one of them cos I'm not overly keen on people ferreting up there. Don't know how I got in this predicament in the first place!!!!!!!
Are you excited now or a bit nervous?

Wow snoopy, good luck. I am having my sweep tomorrow. Have been told if baby is ready it will come tomorrow night after the sweep! Talk about you queue jumping lol.

Without being too "frank" I was going to say, it wasn't much worse thansome over zelous bloke having a fumble lol but I decided not too cause I thought it would sound ummmmm weird!!!

Really wasn't that bad, but like I said it was probably better because I didn't know it was coming, so was relaxed and hadn't had time to get too stressed!

At the momnt I am more excited than anything else, but keep reading through the leaflet they gave me about induction and thinking "oh my god", so probably by next weds I will be papping it!

Oh and happy - you can always call me snoopy! My baby has her new snoopy all ready in her bag, her Daddy bought it for her, I have a very dog eared, grey snoopy you see that was bought for me by my daddy when I was a baby in hospital!, so when her pic gets put on here I will make sure the new snoopy gets included in the piccie!!! x x x

I`m getting confused on this page, gone from talking about tea bags, to changing bags, and i keep thinking ur on about tea bags still, didnt think i`d heard of Radley tea bags lmao!!!

I`d answer to Emmylou in a shop as DH calls me it lol. FIL calls me Boney M....hmm...not so boney anymore after 4 kids lol!

Yay for sweep Snoopy! Fingers crossed it gets things moving so no need for induction! xx
