just phoned tax credits to change my circumstances. omg they need to close down my claim then i need to re apply !!!!!! like i can afford to go for weeks with no payment0

Ok work phonecall done - I'm now officially inactive on their supply register... so will expect a phonecall in about 4 days time at 8.45 asking me if I'm free for work if it's anything like normal!
About to start tackling the hospital bag packing (yes it's early - I'm organised)... baby one's done at least, husband has been firmly told where things like spare nappies and clothes in newborn and next size up are kept in case I stay in longer than anticipated... just mine to work on now.
The major annoyance is nursing bras - I'm really not going to be physically up to getting into town to go to anywhere obscure soon - which means it's retail park fodder (ie Mothercare or possibly Mamas and Papas) or having to order early online... yet I know I need to wait to much later to get a better fit. I'm large, so tend to take a 38/40 backsize anyway (and probably should go larger if I actually got measured properly) so no idea if I'm going to be able to pick up on the highstreet to start with... this one's really being a bugbear to sort out! Anyone any ideas - not sure how large Mothercare will go in their in-store range.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
i dont use them hun so i cant help sorry, i just use non underwired bras that i use wilst pregnant and then go back to my old bras.0

Im sure Ive seen 42's in Mothercare. I got my nursing bras from there and loved them. They were colourful and snazzy, all the midwives complimented me on them :rotfl:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I'll leave it a few more weeks and then have a look there then - still probably too early to go shopping for that particular stuff anyway.
I'm a naughty girl and still using the same underwired but very soft and expandy bras I was before getting pregnant... my chest hasn't really inflated all that much at all really! Actually getting rather concerned I don't have any sign whatsoever of leaky nipples on the horizon when it comes to being able to breastfeed...Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

Morning all,
Just back from the midwife. She said she will do a sweep next week if I'm still here but baby is 2/5 engaged and I'm having regular braxton hicks so she doesn't think I will see her before baby gets here. Probably just jinxed myself by saying that!!
Hope everyone is ok and labour vibes to boldies and anyone else who wants them. Xx:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Dizziblonde - some people leak during pg and some don't. I had none, and am breastfeeding fine. I had the same worry as you but milk came in normally after the birth.
I only started having trouble with leakage later as early on you are feeding often and don't build up so much backlog. Again, this is a personal thing and some women leak more than others. Now my little girl is 9 weeks so can sleep for longer than my boobs will allow!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Hi everyone,
Huge congrats to Ravenlady! Lovely name too!
Been to see consultant this morning, expected a firm date to be induced, but consultant wasn't there, just a registrar, so now got my scan (was a week on Thursday) brought forward to a week today, and promised a decision for a date then! So just going to update the list and push myself back a week! I want her fully cooked, but at the same time, I want a decision, it is so unsettling.
Had a trip yesterday and really hurt my pelvis, mentioned it this morning, and now have a physio appointment on Wednesday afternoon!
My lovely DH organised flowers, a little teddy and a Happy Mummy's day card for me yesterday from bump - made me cry. I have 3 step children, but they havn't once got meanything,so it was a first for me and lovely!
What are we all up to today? x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0
