Definitely should be asleep I'm suffering from first tri tiredness (fell asleep at 8:30/9) but if I get woken up in the middle of the night I'm awake for about an hour. DH has taken to cooling me down with his cold hands because he says I'm too hot when he comes to bed. It's sweet but it wakes me up!
I need the loo now as well but CBA getting up

I got hot too, ended up with duvet on hubbies side and a big cellular blanket on my side as kept waking up steaming hot !
Oh I CBA quite a lot but after the birth kind if have to be :eek:

We have a sheet under the duvet so I just use that but he worrys that I'm getting too hot so opens the window which is nice but then I worry he'll get too cold and end up ill lol

Anyway going to try get back to sleep.

Iv not had a proper nights sleep since tuesday, brought me to the post natal ward and got me opposite a massove snorer it is so loud. I also cant stop staring at my baby :happyheart

not allowed out of bed to see to him because of epidural so have a buzzer to get peoples help. tried to feed but he is just too sleepy at the moment.

Amelia was so sleepy for the first 24 hours Gilly, she wasn't interested in feeding at all! One of the midwives looking after me said that her little boy didn't feed for 48 hours when she had him... Just keep trying whenever you can, it'll happen... Hope you manage to get some sleep, you must be exhausted!

Ahh bless him can forgive him being sleepy mw's helped me by just latching him for first feeds, they can come and get help if need be. If he does not wake then a nappy change should rouse him;)
