Agreed. The police cannot refuse to take note of a crime.

If the person on the desk at the police station (often NOT even a police officer) won't do anything, ask to speak to the Station Inspector.

You tell them you are REPORTING a crime, give them the details, and then tell them (not ask them) you want a Crime reference Number. If you still come up against a brick wall, which I doubt will happen, then tell them your next stop will be your MP. The police really hate it when the local MP gets involved in a case as they then HAVE to do everything above board.

I cant shop her!! we have 3 kids... however, I have spoken to the parties involved, and hopefully, need to get it in writing, the defaults will be struck from the records. So that "seems" ok. Top tip... dont get divorced!!

So are you saying all of the defaults are going to be removed, well done if that is the case!
