I have just done a search for flights on the flightchecker, easyjet states that checked baggage booked online is £9 per bag each way so if we book in 2 bags that is £36 in total? However when I have then used the link to easyjet in order to book the flights it charges £56 for 2 bags, am I doing something wrong???

It varies depending on route - for example for Edinburgh to Luton it's £9 per bag, for Edinburgh to Tenerife it's £23 per bag.0

Not only does it vary according to distance, but the prices are going up for summer 2012. For domestic routes it will be £10 per bag. EasyJet are getting to be as underhand as Ryanair.0

I find it often cheapest to use BA when taking sports equipment
They no longer allow it free but the last time I went you could take it as part of your bag allowance0
