Buying a new beetle

I know its not very money saving, but I've always wanted a convertable beetle - now one has come up in our price range - but it seems a good £1k cheaper than any comparable car. Should I listen to the 'if its too good to be true...' saying, or should I go for it? Is there anything obvious I could be looking for? The sales team are really pushing me (but I'm fully prepaired to walk away - and I've already told them I'm not going to play their games) - it seems really backwards but the low price is actually putting me off! Am I mad?!

Theirs probably something not quite right with the car, they're probably having trouble shifting it. They've seen that glazed "I love this car no matter how !!!! it is" look in your eye's and they're going in for the kill.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
