Has NTL been bought out by Virgin media??
When my internet explorer loads up, the ntlworld.com site has changed to Virgin media. Anyone know what's going on?? I'm confused.

Rebranding only - http://www.ntl.com/mediacentre/press/display.asp?id=873Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

NTL bought Virgin Mobile.
Virgin Media is just a brand, like a sweetwrapper, to wrap around the merged NTL/Telewest/Virgin Mobile companies.
"Last year’s £950m purchase of Branson’s Virgin Mobile, and the licensing of the Virgin name, gave NTL a chance to start again."

Branson now has a 17% stake in NTL so he's lending his name to them I believe. You should have had a letter in the post from them telling you about the 'exciting' changes on the way signed by Richard himself.[FONT=georgia, bookman old style, palatino linotype, book antiqua, palatino, trebuchet ms, helvetica, garamond, sans-serif, arial, verdana, avante garde, century gothic, comic sans ms, times, times new roman, serif]A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it
