Thing is that Experian themselves tend to disagree
    Complaint is about:
1-alerts received in November about searches made in September
2- notices of correction and removed searches which were still showing
3- score going up and down without any changes, stating there were changes but none were seen on the report

No, the complaint is not about paying the membership, and anyone who got a response in four hours must be joking

    Anything else?

Excuse me? you calling me a liar? No, I am not joking, I got a response within 4 hours and they also spoke to me on the phone. And no, I don't work for Experian before you throw that one at me as well.

A few years ago when I had an identity theft problem, I found they were very good on the phone.

Never bothered with the score thing though
  • Great to have all this feedback and all comments are much appreciated and taken into consideration for improving my lousy long style

No offence, and didn't call you a liar. But any email query sent to them is normally answered first by an automated message saying we will deal with your email within the next couple of decades, then a reply a century later. You're not a liar, you're just very lucky 😉

    >
    > I note that your score dropped from 19/12/11 to 21/12/11.
    >
    > The reason for this drop was the addition of the two accounts recorded by Fortress Group (UK) plc (accounts started on 06/09/11 and 30/09/11). These accounts were not showing on the report that you viewed on 19/12/11.
    >
    > When you viewed your credit report on 21/12/11 these accounts showed a 'file updated' date of 06/11/11. This means that the information in question was correct up to and including this date. It does not necessarily mean this was the date that the information was loaded onto our systems by the lender.
    >
    > The 'file updated' date showed a date in November even though the data was provided to us in December because lenders usually provide us with an update of their accounts a month in arrears. This means that when an account is opened or when a payment is made it can take a several weeks to show on our records.

    >
    > An "Unrecorded Enquiry" does not indicate that the search was made as the result of a credit application, but reflects that the company has searched your report for other purposes. This type of search is not seen by other credit companies when they search your report and this does not affect your score.

Yeah, I got an automated message and then another email a few hours later. I guess I was lucky.

The sentences, do they ever end?

Sorry OP, it's just unreadable. I lost the will to live.
