Tell him it isn't one of your specified payment methods and stick to your guns.0

from Ebay...Don't Accept Payment by Western Union or other Instant Cash Wire Transfer Services
The use of instant money transfers as a method of receiving payment, via companies such as Western Union or Moneygram, is not allowed on eBay.co.uk. We have banned the use of instant money transfers as a payment method on the eBay.co.uk site to protect members, because in the past some sellers have exploited Instant Money Transfers in order to defraud buyers.0 -

his feedback is 0 and he joined yesterday.
definitely dodgy
more angry as the bid below was a good price and was more than happy with it. the guy had feedback of 500+
is there anyway of knocking a bid on item that you are selling?0 -

Do you mean cancel a bid? Yes, but you have to do it before the auction ends.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

you can do second chance offer to someone further down the line, not just the one in second place... if you are happy with their bid.
They will get the offer at the last price they bid though, not what the item went for.0 -
As pennylane99 pointed out - eBay states that "Moneygram, is not allowed on eBay.co.uk... because in the past some sellers have exploited Instant Money Transfers in order to defraud buyers".
From a seller's perspective, Moneygram Express International is quite safe as long as you don't ship until you have the cash in your hand. Look out for the usual scams involving, "you need to provide a tracking number so the funds can be released", shipping to a 'relative' in Nigeria, etc. I'd also point out that Moneygram is available as Money Transfers (no longer permitted by eBay - to protect buyers) and International Money Orders (IMO). I still get a number of Moneygram-branded IMOs every year from USA customers, which my local bank will negotiate for free. :-)"Money is truthful. If a person speaks of their honour, make sure they pay in cash."0
