2 months waiting time for new cooker!!

Options
I ordered a new gas cooker in November that had to be made to order. I was given a date in December that I would receive it. Then I was given the 28th December that the cooker would be in the shop, so wouldn't be with me til the New Year, so no new cooker for Christmas or the New Year. :( Then again date changed to 4th when cooker was received by shop and booked to be fitted at home on 5th January. My husband rang shop on 5th to be told that it had not been received by shop and was now due to be received by them on the 10th so we arranged for fitting on 14th January. I rang Zanussi as I was very angry  who said they only give out estimated dates and by 10th my cooker may not arrive!!! I was not at all happy and said if it was not in my house by the 14th I would be having my money back. The 14th arrived and my new cooker turned up at my house, old cooker was disconnected and removed, new one was partially put in place, my kitchen is very small, galley type. Discovered cooker was too big, to cut long story short, the shop had ordered the wrong cooker from the beginning. So I had Zanussi to blame for not sending my cooker out to me as soon as possible, instead I had waited 2 months, then to find out it was the shops fault as well for ordering the wrong cooker in the first place. Have found same cooker in different shop on shop floor, but they say they can get me a new one delivered in 2 weeks, original shop will pay for fitting but that is all the compensation they will offer (£75), when I had paid them £715 and had received nothing for 2 months and then it wasn't right, I want to go for more compensation as I have suffered with stress and am ill with a condition that is aggrevated by stress so I have not been good at all and this has just made it all worse. I feel really let down, do I go to the shops head office first or straight to Trading Standards, as this is where the manager says he asked about the £75 and he said Trading Standards said it was a reasonable offer, but then they only heard the story from him not me!!! Thanks :) Angie
