    My contract says 12 months

My uncle uses XLN in his pub, nothing but good service from them.

Have a close read of the other threads before trying to convince us they are good.

How about the 12 month contract that is not a 12 month contract even it was . From the T&C "After the minimum term you can cancel any service by calling our Customer Service Helpdesk ongiving us 42 days notice."

How about the expensive 0844 customer service number.

Expensive 0844 number? Not as expensive as BT's £130 line installation fee, or their £15.50 plus vat line rental.

From personal experience, when dealing with them for my uncle in his pub, we've had no problems - thats all I can go off.

It's only a 12 month contract, whereas the other companies are more than that.

    It's swings and roundabouts.
  • Swings and Roundabouts my foot its about getting ripped off for cancellation charges etc. Heres an example of someone who thought he had signed up for a 12 month contract.

The problem is despite the evidence you cant see you could be getting yourself in the mire with them.

Hopefully the contracts works out for you and your wife. At least other people who might have gone and signed up with them are aware of the possible problems.

I'll make sure I have everything confirmed in writing before the 30 days is up, including price, installation fee and contract length
  • Thanks for the heads up on XLN, one to be avoided me thinks.
