dead battery.......try charging it but on a 2001 car if its never been changed then get a new oneEx forum ambassador

The lights and electrics all work fine tho? What would of caused it to drain or die?0

You need a lot of juice to start a car. Majority of other electrics dont take a lot.
Its been a bit colder recently and that might have been enough for your battery to show its age.0 -
Ok would charging it sort it for the time being before we get chance to replace the battery?0

Not really. It might last but only until the next cold snap. With places that sell a battery in every town, there's no excuse not to go get it done.0

Could be a duff starter motor..
Try the lights on FULL beam. IF they start to dim within a minute then your battery IS knackered but you want to be sure before spending the cash on it.0
