Help: condensation causing problems.

Options
Hi guys,

We had double glazing fitted to the house early last year as we had had enough of condensation on all the windows.

Although its become apparent that since the winter has set in the problem has got worse :(

Its not just on the wondows now but my walls are soaking and its causing secondary problems wih mould etc..

Can anyone tell me is there an easy fix for this?? De humidifiers are not working and its too cold to leave the windows open all day

We are thinking of getting someone in to install some airbricks for us, would this solve the problem???

Any help would be appreciated :D

Got extractor fans in bathrooms and kitchen. If so you must use them.
Open the trickle vents on the DG too if youhave them

Best of luck, we have had this problem since moving into our rented accommodation. We have installed airbricks to no avail, de-humidifier running 24/7 to avail, we have bought those disposable de-humidifiers the kind with the crystals in supposed to last 3 weeks and have been placing them on all the window sills but they only last a week. They do help but it hasn't eliminated the problem. We have also tried keeping the windows open a crack but that hasn't made much difference, it is worse with the windows closed but either way the problem is still there.
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

    Change how you live.

    Follow the advice here http://www.woking.gov.uk/planning/envhealthservice/housing/condensation

BTW every council in the country gives advice on condensation.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)
