WH Smith Christmas returns

Does anyone know if WH Smith do extended returns for Christmas? I bought my dad a DVD for Xmas in store and then discovered my brother had beaten me to it and got him the same one!

I has lost the receipt so was going to sell on Ebay (I paid £13, they are selling for around £6 + postage on Ebay plus Ebay fees) but I now have found the receipt however it is outside the normal 30 days so I was wondering if they offer extended returns after Xmas for unwanted gifts and so on?

There's no harm in going in and asking, they may offer a gift card if not a refund.

Thanks for your replies, the receipt doesn't say anything about returns at all - the reason I asked was I know some retailers offer returns for 30 days from Xmas day which would still be applicable. It is a bit of a trek to the store but will see if I can get in this week and see how it goes.
