Electric or cylinder shower?

Options
Hi
I have a large hot water cylinder (very well lagged) fed from a cold tank in the loft ie a traditional setup. The tank is about 1m above the loft floor.
I don't use the bath (prefer a shower) & live on my own (so I don't do a lot of washing up) so I heat a lot of hot water I don't do much with.
I'm changing my bathroom & would like a mixer type shower so I can use some of the hot water I'm paying for. I have 15mm pipes in place already. However, I'm getting conflicting advice on if I have enough water pressure. Some showers say .1 bar min, others .3bar & others 1 bar.
I'm not looking for a power shower & can't afford a pump, so would a traditional exposed bar mixer shower do the job for me? As long as it's no less powerful than the 8.5kw electric shower I have at the moment. that's fine by me.
Thanks
Paul

I'd go for thermostatic mixer taps with a shower. The water pressure will be better than the 8.5kw shower especially in the winter.

I only heat the water in the cylinder once maybe twice a week then do all the washing up and have a bath. During the week I'll wash a few plates and mugs using a kettle of boiling water mixed with cold water. When washing hands I just use cold water and anti-bacterial hand wash.

Hi: you need a thermostatic shower mixer suitable for a gravity system e.g. Aqualisa Midas 200.

    More on shower options here.

    Thanks for the info.
I'm now Googling for low pressure shower mixer but most manufacturers don't actually state what low pressure is. Some define low pressure as .5bar which is more than I have. They are more expensive than HP ones too.
I don't want to spend more than £100 if I can avoid it.
