Gledhill Boilermate 2000 - cover !

I currently have a Potterton Suprima bolier which governs a Gledhill Boilermate 2000 thermal storage system.

Does anyone know of a bioiler cover plan/provider who specifically covers the Boilermate 2000 as well as the Potterton ?

A couple of companies I have spoken to don't really seem sure if they do.

For example I was just told today by Domestic & General that they don't cover both systems. However, I know of at least 1 person in my street who has taken out their policy and was advised both systems ARE covered.

Any help welcome.

Can tell you bg will cover both, the engineer may tell you otherwise as the boilermates are horrible things but they are.

    Why don't you ask him?

Then you have your cover provider.

Did you read my original posting ?

Although my neighbour told me he was covered, D&G (the policy provider) have confirmed it isn't covered. Therefore I DON'T have my provider......

    Have you approached Gledhill themselves?

They are a very customer focused family business, whom I have had dealings with in the past, I'm sure they could advise you or maybe offer a service themselves that would be competative!

Their units are becoming very popular in new builds and I don't know for sure but they may have a service facility, I do know they will give you factual options or alternatives!
