    What a lovely story. I hope the notes have some collector value though. Maybe you could frame a couple of notes for yourself, and sell any left over to those who post here and deny the risks of higher inflation.

    In the present economic climate (Greece/euro) you might think of keeping hold of them - who knows what 8 million drachma could be worth if Greece withdraw or get kicked out of the eurozone and they revert back to their previous currency. For the sake of a peanuts exchange rate at present, I'd keep hold of them and pray, pray, pray for devaluation! :-)
