I'd use washing up liquid on a wet sponge, bit of elbow grease, then rinse and buff dry with a cloth.0

Thanks, Will try that tonight as it looks a mess.

i am sure somebody will jump in an correct me but, can you not you washing powder or dish washing powder, it will be abrasive and it breaks down proteins and fats. maybe test on a small area first.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0

I use neat screenwash (car stuff) for cleaning indoor glass, especially the oven door. When you see the muck it gets off your windscreen you know it will do a lot for your glass indoors. Vinegar also works well but does take elbow grease.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

I use a squirt of pound shop oven cleaner, no elbow grease requiredJust bumbling along, trying to save some moneyCouldn't do it without coming here every day:T:T:T£2 Savers ClubSealed Pot Challenge - ~16930

I use a window paint scrapper to first get off as much grease as possible. Fairly cheap and may have pisked my last one up from £land. Then anything you use should come off easier. I have used ceramic hob cleaner in the past but as someone else said - test patch first for scratches. HTHIf you dont want it - dont waste it - Freecycle it!0
