Paypal why bother!

Signed up for paypal because I though they protect you if you have problems,
but as it seems they have no power at all.

I put a complaint in about not receiving my parcel I bidded on on EBay, they said I won the resolution and that I was only entiltled to £4 pound back and that I would have to get the rest off the seller.

Whats the point in using them I don't trust EBay or paypal so I am going to cancel my membership from them, too many fraudster on the Auction site and they make me laugh by offering paypal to pay.

I can't understand why paypal can't give me all my money back. They have access to your account when your a member don't they and to open an account with ebay you have to give them your bank details, whats the problem the seller should provide proof of posting if they can't then they should refund.

by the way the Item was only £19 but its the principle isn't it.

Speak to your credit card people... assuming you funded the payment with a credit card.

If the account has no money in it all they can do is make the seller overdrawn - they usually can't get the money back if it's not in PP's account.
