Skipton grid card

Anybody using skipton online grid card? I wonder whether you get lock out of your account if you do it wrong three times? How much are you allowed in one transfer providing you have the funds? Thanks

I actually find the grid a pain. Accessing my account when I am away from home requires me to remember to bring the grid card with me. There have been a number of occasions when I unexpectedly need to access my account and because I do not have the card with me, I cannot.

I have 2 other accounts with grid cards. My solution is to have a handheld with a 256bit encryption program and put the grid card in that and then destroy it, making sure backups are always up to date.

Yeah Ive got a Skipton grid card, use it very occasionally have to remember where I leave it!

Don't know if it does lock you out after 3 attempts, Luckily Ive never got it wrong. It is very easy to use, you just follow the on screen instructions when using it.

In November I had a fixed rate bond mature with the Skipton, the money was paid in to my Skipton online account.
Using the grid card I managed to withdraw £83K in one transaction with no problems (withdrawn 21st, paid in to linked account 23rd) so don't know if they have got a maximum limit, if they have its quite high.
