Any tips on the best place to invest/save our little Alfies £250 trust fund voucher from government. We have read the info supplied but are interested in what others think the best place for it would be.
Any input will be appreciated
thankyou

There is a thread for CTF discussion already, but never mind.
Assuming you aren't putting any more than the £250 voucher into the CTF, you might be best off with a straightforward savings type CTF as there are no charges. The other CTF which charge might eat into £250 quite quickly.
The best rate I know of currently for this type of CTF is 6% offered by several building societies, but some of them include various bonuses/terms to get the full 6%, applying early is one condition for example.
If you intend paying money into the fund then it's a whole different question, again depending on how much you plan putting away.
I'm no qualified IFA though so take what I say with a pinch of salt and do your own research etc!:A0 -

Childrens mutual almost seem to have this area of the market stitched up from the investment point of view. Other insurers are now white labling the Chil Mut product as it is so good and its cheaper to use that than create their own.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
