Which cheapest

Now all the companies are cutting prices, which is the cheapest for gas and electric? Is there a best way to find out?

I hear all the comparison websites have vested interests and push some companies over others. Is there an independant way to tell which is cheapest per unit and all round for you?

I wish there was more transparancy, if it was easy to choose which is the cheapest.

  • My E-on fixed tarrif is coming to an end and we did an online comparison but a tarrif we knew about wasnt listed.

All Energy providers have "unlisted" tarrifs. All conparison sites I've been on say I'll be £100 a year worse off.

i want to know can you get them to keep you on the tarrif your already on?

So is there a way on here everyone can post the unlisted options?

I am just interested in price per unit of gas and electric.

But they do try to make it complicated you have to consider other charges.

Yes, the same way there has always been-use a comp site with your annual kWh figures. then switch using a cashback site.
Comparing unit costs does not work, as there are too many other variables.

So produce your evidence for that? I suggest you use a Consumer Focus accredited site.
All the sites want you to switch, of course, that doesn't mean they rig the figures to favour certain ones.
