Home alarms for gas leaks

My daughter has moved into a flat and is in a room without windows and is also where the gas meter is housed. Ventilation is poor. There are a lot of pipes which are going to be boxed in. (Its a large commercial building and there are 10 of them doing it up). I'm worried about any gas leaks in her room and wondered if there is an alarm which she can have in there to warn her if there are any leaks.

Its not carbon monoxide I'm concerned about although it would be useful to have an alarm for that too. Its gas escapes that worry me.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Can you suggest one? I've looked before because my Mum sometimes turns the gas cooker on without lighting it but the only ones I've found seem designed for professional use.0 -

I'd recommend an Amos natural gas detector(alarm) system.
