I put in the details of my sister's car which is currently off the road with expired MOT. I put in all the faults and it came back with an offer of £100. Minus the £50 "admin" fee and you are left with just £50 for the car. Get more on eBay.0

Out of curiosity I looked on we-con-any-mug.com (although I think they use the terms 'buy' and 'car' instead) and their valuation was.... drumroll please... £245. Yes, £245. I wrote it twice just in case you thought it was a typo.
I nearly fell off my chair laughing. Bear in mind that that wouldn't be the amount that they actually gave me for it either AND they charge a £49.99 transaction fee for the pleasure of taking you to the cleaners and back, so I'd probably walk away with less than 1/10th of the car's value if was foolish enough to give them my car.
THEY ARE CON ARTISTS, GIVE THEM AN EXTREMELY WIDE BIRTH. How else do you think they fund their endless bombardment of annoying adverts??!!!
They clearly didn't want your brand of car. They did want mine. Con artists how?0 -

Get more from cartakeback/the scrappers I'd have thought! What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -

When ever I've put a car into cartakeback they always come up with £90 collected or £100 if I drop it off 30 miles away. Which would cost more in fuel/travel home.
It only needs £175 repairs for MOT then it's a solid car. And that's garage prices.0 -

.
Offered £200 for mine.
Mind even at £90 you are still £40 up on WBAC by scrapping the thing which was entirely the point. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
WBAC are so bad, it wouldn't surprise me if the Church of England started buying used cars in competition.
That said, some people just want rid of their car and don't care what they get back.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

they quoted me £425 quid for my car which privately fetched £2295
they claim to offer more to buy it off you than you would get part ex - however 3 garages offered me between 900 and £1300 part ex
so i didnt even allow them to see it to mark it down further to be honest0
