I have banked with them since i was 10 with the junior account, so 14 years and in that time i have been charged at least 1k in charges (normally for me going over my overdraft), can i claim any of that back or an i not eligible as it was my fault for going over? thanks x

I approached them about it once, never wrote a letter or made a formal request just inquired about it and I got a barrage or information why I could not. Mainly because they claim they're 'fair fees' policy covers them and you are made aware of the charges before hand. Like you, about 1ks worth of charges in the past 10 years. Thats not to say its not worth trying, I think others have had success - but I think they are prepared for people approaching them.0
