Pm'd you lvm, save my last fiver coming in and finding every spelling mistake in my post and taking out an ad in the local paper.

January 2012 conclusion - net worth rose £215.74.
Even with £750 out for holiday and £1,400 car repairs, still managed a positive ending balance so happy about that yet unhappy at it being such a small amount. Would have been near £2,400 if it wasnt for that 2 things to pay for. Anyway its a tiny step in the right direction. Debt will come down quicker now its on smaller apr. Forecast for Febuary and March combined is £4,000 rise. All that is included in calculating is liquid cash i have minus debt amount outstanding. I am in the negitave, should break even around June/July.

Rictus, what have you done with the 215 left over? REoaid debt or put in savings?

You need an emergency float (maybe 100 per month), but put some against the debt.

Just because net worth rises £215, does not really mean i have £215 left? Could mean it is £215 i have paid off the debt.

Net worth is current account balance+all savings minus all debts.

Well payday yesterday so will give a little update. Paid £775 off debts straight away. Couldnt get any work done yesterday due to the weather so was home and sorting out spreadsheets by dinnertime. Ended up being a very productive day. Im not going to keep in running totals as i pay off debt-i have had a pm through saying noone believes i can pay it off. So i will let use know when i make overpayments but wont mention how much is left to go until that debt free date until its here. Save upseting other posters that cannot pay off 4 figure a month so feel it is only right to have a go at those who can.

Anyway onwards and upwards. Entertainment budget will take a hit tonight as im going out for a few drinks, nothing too extreme though. Then it will be no spend until petrol/loan payment on the whichever comes first - loan payment is on the 16th.

As far as making money goes, we are a month ahead at work, right now we are working to make the pay we will recieve on the 2nd of March. Still need to keep making as much as possible so i get paid the 2 weeks im away on holiday - so i dont have to take them as holidays and can still get paid for 3 weeks holiday in summer. Will be working throught holidays in the summer, hopefully make an extra few thousand and use it all as my final payments to debts...even if its not quite the final payments it should take me very close.

Next debt payments will be on the 17th of Febuary, should be clearing £1000ish.

perhaps more people would believe you if you kept your story consistent?

or maybe told people what job you do that pays 50k a year for a 21 year old working a 30 hour week?

    just a thought....

If you think my story is inconsistent then you must have been trawling though my post history...i have said many times before what my job is, so you should know. You would also know i am not 21. I have said before it can be 30 hours a week - upto 46 hours at the most for my "9-5". Are you not getting bored yet?
