  • well I haven't done any of the list at all today lol, instead I cleared out all of the broken toys from my sons room and finally managed to find homes for most of the christmas presents. Dh sorted out dd's cupboard with her books and games in, so although we didn't do the list we have got loads done! I'm just about to do a bit of ironing now before bed :)

  • Very busy at work this week. Didn't get in until after 6 tonight and it's looking the same for tomorrow and Thursday as well so I am one tired bunny this week. I can feel a migraine niggling so I need to make sure that I have an early night. Even if I want to post on here for hours.
Still have managed a bit of flying, but not as much as I'd like.

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall & Stairs

JJ - really sorry about your sad news.
Triker - sorry to hear about your job.

Well. I've had a fantastic day - although no flying yet. It was my last day at work after 35 years in the NHS. I'm now officially retired.
I was taken out for a lovely lunch by people in the service, and 2 enormous bunches of flowers and some lovely presents. And I've still got my leaving do to come in a couple of weeks time. I have worked with some lovely people, so in many ways I am sorry to be leaving.

Home now. Feet up and a glass of wine. But I'll dance the hoover round the hall before bed and catch up tomorrow on Tuesday jobs.

Welcome noobs - jovichick - our resident JBJ fan Gunsandbanjos will be thrilled to have a fellow 'nutter' about, no doubt.

have put the last of the (aired) ironing away and am about to get a washload in to run tonight. Had Twilight training (so I can have a Friday off - I ask you!) and couldn't really wriggle out of it due to content...

    Ah well - 'Friday' tomorrow!

Just ordered some saftey equipment for work - thought of Amazon this time - cheaper, I don't have to traipse to a shop AND they'll issue a VAT receipt! So I can claim the £1.99 back and work gets 33p of it back! Woot! happy days!

Hi, prob a silly question. I was wondering where you get the daily lists from. I saw Mon/Tue on front pages, but was wondering where Wednesday's list could be found, as im very busy 2moz and was going to have a quick peek (im worried im gettin a bit too keen lol). I have noticed such a difference just over the past 2 days.
  • Minion decided to occupy herself when unattended by making meringues. But forgot to check the temperature and burned them :(

Wouldn't have minded, we have plenty of eggs (well, we did), but the scattering of sugar across EVERY surface I had only cleaned 3 hours previously did not go down well. She found herself cleaning the kitchen tonight.

And I have booked to meet my mother tomorrow morning before Minion's orthodontic appointment.

    'where shall I meet you?'

    Starbucks.

    'where?'

    Starbucks.

'where bucks? I can't hear you'

    Starbucks.

    'What?'

    THE.COFFEE.SHOP.

    'The coffee shop? Starbucks?'

    YES!

'You are so stupid. Why didn't you say Starbucks if you meant there?' :wall: :wall: :wall:

We'll be there at 10. Don't forget the 2 Christmases worth of presents from my brothers for the girls that have been living in your spare room.

'I know it's been Christmas. I suppose I'll have to find them now.'

You wouldn't think she lives two miles away from me, would you? It's one bus, 100yds from her house to 100 yds from my house. Although the bit going to me is at least a mile, according to her. It's further to walk to get to the flaming coffee shop. And I'm banned from visiting the house as I might feel the urge to clean something.

Minion has a list of instructions for dealing with my mother. No swearing, as she will smack her in the head (seriously, she will, and if I couldn't wallop her for battering me senseless as a kid because I might have hurt her, Minion certainly isn't doing it), no mentioning that I allow her to be in the house alone occasionally, no mentioning that I occasionally go out and meet people, no mentioning that I am not sitting in a chair waiting to get old and die all day everyday, no mentioning the music, no mentioning whether or not I qualify for any benefits, no mentioning anything that she will go and manipulate and distort and tell her friends the altered version of, which would then get passed on again until it bears no relation to the truth and I would end up being painted as a rockstar benefit fraudster in the Daily Mail.

If I could, I'd take tranquilisers to deal with her. Or shoot her with a tranquiliser gun myself. But my girls deserve to have the presents my family have bought them, even if they are 2 years late.

    Ergh.

I think I shall go and clean the showerroom now, as I'm stressed just thinking about it.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Welcome!

All days are listed on the first post - but only the night before so Wednesdays should be going up soon - I'm lurking to get an advanced peek as I've got a really busy day tomorrow so I need to see if I'm going to be busting a gut or not!

Keep an eye on post #1 - it all goes up there!
