Got a letter back from Egg saying that they refuse my claim on PPI. Has anyone else had one of these letters from Egg and still got somewhere with Egg.

People get rejected every day. To get a complaint going in your favour, you have to have been mis-sold. Just having PPI is not a mis-sale.
