PS3 sold on eBay- buyer wants refund. Advice please.

Hi,
Completely new to this forum so hopefully this is in the correct area, but apologies if not.
I sold a PS3 that was working but on the blink on eBay last week for £85.
I stated this clearly in the listing and also that no returns accepted due to the condition. I thought it would also be reflected in the price. The buyer signed for it and has already left positive feedback saying they're happy with it.
However they are now saying the system has stopped working and have asked for a return/refund.
Although I've been on eBay a while I've not experienced a transaction like this previously, so not sure at all where I stand regarding eBay/Paypal policy, or for that matter distance selling etc.
Any clear advice appreciated. Thanks

Even though you are not registered as a business seller, some of the items that you've recently sold show that this isn't the case.
(multiple lots of the same item, made with the intention of selling for a profit).
As such, you have no option but to offer a refund, especially as the returns option on the listing states "returns accepted" and it was sold on a BIN listing.0 -

I agree with George Michael, your account shows a number of items that are prohibited on ebay- and you are not registered as a business so you really need to stay below the radar. Item was not working as per the listing, so ask buyer to return it for a full refund. If you force bueyr to go to a dispute they will still get their refund, but ebay may well suspend your account.
Then sort out your business registration and read what you can and can't sell- now it is on an open forum like MSE you are likely to be reported by any casual browser.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ok, I wasn't aware of the issues you've raised regarding listings and will offer the refund as suggested.

And editing your post to remove the link was pointless, since your OP had already been quoted.
(Although you may have been editing at the same time as it was quoted).0 -
Just ask the buyer to return it for a full refund - you sold it as still sort of working and it isn't.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
You did note the serial number I hope? If not at least email buyer telling them that when they send it back you will check serial number to confirm that it is the same item0

Someone tried with a camera with me once. Even had the cheek to ask for it back, was given short shift on that.0
