Ebay falsely charging for picture pack

That's it! -
I go through all the settings, hidden options for removing things unwanted, Edit and Revise stages, but cannot get rid of this Picture Pack charge on single pic. items.

it's happened 3 times this week and they don't answer emails correctly sent.

I can't afford to sub. ebay by a further 90p per item.

ADVICE PLEASE?

This annoys me, if you list in clothing then move to another category on "Sell Similar" it leaves the Picture Pack option on and tries to charge you, you have to go back in, delete all photos, remove the pack, and re-add photos in my case.

It does that across a few categories, sometimes the difference is more than 90p as some cats have more free picture options.
You can edit it via Turbo Lister, untick the boxes on there and the pictures stay.

  • As someone suggested in another thread, for pics just use a freehosting site and embed in your listing so you can have as many pics as you want for free.

That's ok in the listing, but may not be ok for gallery picture.

External hosted pictures don't always show up on mobile devices and that is Ebay's biggest growth market at present, something like 1 in ten sales and rising are now via Android and Iphone apps.

My external host pictures show up no problem on both android and iphone apps. Never seen a problem with them. I host mine via photobucket.

The main problem is if they were all hosted externally then you wouldn't have a gallery pic showing up. None of which really helps the OP if they already have pictures listed and can't unswitch gallery pack or picture upgrade that is free in some cats and not in others.

Interesting. All my gallery images are hosted externally. They all show up on the iphone ebay app with no problems. My wife has an android phone so will check on there too.

Well, I've found this problem with direct listing using ebay standard[if it is in a mood to work]or basic hosting, as well as on turbolister. Problem happens regardless. Now I find that last night's lot have ALL been dropped to 4[four, yes 4] day listings...which doesn't even exist -and I always use either 7 or 10...can't be bothered faffing about with it any longer.
    It's kafkaesque in there.

  • I host my external pics on https://www.tinypic.com, and they all show up on iPhone

Did anyone ever have any luck in sorting this out? I'm currently being charged £1 per listing, 10p listing fee and 90p picture pack which I'm not using (I don't even know what this is!) I've been talking to Ebay on livechat for over an hour now and am at the end of my tether with it, all they can suggest is uninstalling and reinstalling the app which I've done twice (I'm on android on a galaxy S). They have also said that this is automatically enabled but that's not true as it doesn't happen on every listing!

What can I do to sort this out?
