This is pretty much what we have been doing, also researched house prices in the area, sold prices etc.
by pre approved i did mean aip. if i found the perfect property then i could borrow the required deposit money from a family member but wouldn't really want to do that.
i'll just keep a look out, hope certain ones dont sell and in april/may actually start viewing and making offers0
