Hi,
We're after some opinions please on the Bugaboo Chameleon compared to the Uppababy Vista. Does anybody know how they would compare in weight, size folded, use on gravel driveways or any other advice or opinions, would be much appreciated!
Thanks

As I said on the other thread for gravel/off roading, I wouldn't go with the Chameleon, it really is an "urban" pram, even with the wheels reversed. So it'd be the Uppababy Vista for me.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Dont have any experience of the uppababy vista, but I love, love my cameleon.
I've used it every day since DS was born (now 23months) and it still looks as good as new, the handle can quickly be flipped opposite so the large wheels are at the front, which is invaluable when trying to push through snow,on rough ground or on gravel drives.
Its a joy to push and steer one handed and I've felt no desire to trade it in for a lightweight buggy.
OK,so they are ridiculously expensive ,but IMO the do look v stylish and have the advantage that they hold their valve well,so the resale potential is good..........
The only down side is the 2 part fold so isn't great if you have to collapse for public transport(but most travel systems are the same)0 -
Cheers, it good to hear different opinions :-)0

If it is any help at all I have owned both and the Uppababy is for me a far superior system. I do a lot of nature walk type outings with my children which generally involves going over the uneven rough footpaths through parks, ( those damnable ducks refuse to swim along the proper concrete footpath!:rotfl:) My Bugaboo lasted 7 weeks before it went to our local Salvation Army for rehoming, which was better than the Quinny which only lasted 4 weeks
However my Uppababy is still a very much loved member of the family after 7 months. It is certainly not a compact fold though and it would be best to check it will fit in your boot if your car has limited space but once you have the knack of folding it it folds all in one go with the seat attached.
