I got a credit refund from Eon
Because I had over £200 credit with Eon and if my usage stays the same until the DD review in April I would still have over £200 credit I sent an email asking Eon if they would refund it.
I've just had a phone call from a nice Eon person telling me I will have the money in my bank in a few days.:j:j:j:j:j

It is nice to have a positive thread. I have been with Eon now for probably the last 10 years if not more (yes and I do pop my usage figures into the comparison calculators regularly!)
I can honestly say that I've never had a problem. I do my own meter readings ever quarter and my direct debit has always been about right for my useage.
Customer services have always been very polite and helpful and I can get through really quickly if I've wanted to change tariff etc.
There must be others like me surely?! I can't be the only happy Eon customer in the world. Lol0 -
No foreversummer, I am another Eon customer that never had any problems, do my own meter readings monthly, my direct debit is £48 a month for both gas and electric and £100 in credit. I also go on comparison sites but can never find anything cheaper then my current tarrif.
So I will join the 'happy Eon customer' club :0)0 -
To those in credit, it is only mid January, a lot of the credit will be used up in the next 2 months and if your in debit when review time comes you monthly payment will go up significantly, because they will add the debit to an annual review then divide by 12.
£48 a month for gs and electric is way too low in my opinion.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

But that's just it McKneff. This does not happen to me, never has. Last year I got a £40 refund and my payments stayed the same.0
