Just booked two tickets at this theatre, they are front row, i thought you can't go wrong as far as the view is concerned, now people are telling me that it's to close to the high stage, and isn't a very good view, has anybody been to this theatre before and sat in the front row seats?

Don't know this particular theatre, but front row in many theatres can be a problem if the stage isn't low - you will probably not be able to see right to the back of the stage.
You often get a better view 2 or 3 rows back.0 -
I find it often depends on the specific production being shown as to whether the front few rows are 'too close' or not.
Haven't been to this threatre myself, but Theatre Monkey might be of some use.
