Wallstar boiler needed reseting

My Wallstar boiler needed the reset switch pressing about the start of December 2011 and it's just gone again.
It works when it is reset, I just wonder why it goes off?
It's about 9 years old, wasn't serviced this year.
Any ideas, is it normal? Or should I be calling someone in?

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
