Cargo in store returns on sale items?

Can anyone help... I bought 2 frames earlier in cargo, they both looked the same however one is slightly thicker than the other - and as they are both going to be but up on the wall on top of eachother I think it will look a bit funny! One must have been on the wrong shelf and I didnt bother checking as they both came up at 4.99 at the till (1/2 price)
I have checked my reciept and it says nothing about their returns policy, can I exchange one to the right one?

You have no statutory right to a refund just because you bought the wrong item.

You may have a contractual right though.
It depends on the store's return policy.

The only way that you will find out the answer to your question is to ask in the shop.

Thanks, knew they didnt have to exchange/refund them unless they were faulty, just wondered if anyone had ever returned anything there as there site doesn't give much away and there is nothing at all on the reciept? Will give them a ring in the morning if noone knows.
