Hi there
Thanks for your posts.
THE ISA I got refunded a few years back, although it did cost me to get out of it which I was annoyed at at the time.
Like I say, I was young and I was offered various products by looyds even though I was non-domincile UK, and whilst I am sure alot of it may have been useful, I am not convinced I was advised fully on the reason for it and at the time this was taken it was all to do with my first mortgage and I am not conivnced I should have been able to get the mortgage when I was not living uk. I tis celar on my bank statments for the preiod of Aug 1999 - August 2003 taht I am not living in uk, even if they did not have a copy of the contract at the time (which they did have)
Anyway thanks for your posts, I have requested via SAR all teh information that lloyds hold on me, I will take a view once I have the relveant docuemtns and infomration as to whether I feel that this was miss sold.
Thanks for your help0 -

Legally you could have. However, whether Lloyds would have failed it if submitted correctly is a different matter but that does not make it a mis-sale for you. You applied for a mortgage and got it. No issue at your end.
If the CI was sold when you were resident in China and expecting to remain so, then that would almost certainly be wrong and you have scope there.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
