Paper hanging on one wall?

Hi,

I know there are some older posts about paper hanging... but how much approximately would it cost to have one wall papered? It's roughly 4m by 4m. I already have wallpaper, which is ready lined, so it's really just the job of putting it up (which I'm rubbish at!).

Many thanks :)

P.S. I'm in the South East - I know the prices can be very different depending on location!

    I agree with Ormus - 100 - 150 is probably the mark.

handymen don't do wallpapering , you want a decorator , ie someone who knows what they are doing , not someone who thinks they know what they are doing ;)

    i would have thought around 150ish -

You don't have to be a "decorator" to know how to put up wallpaper.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
  • Paying someone £100 plus to paper one wall?

You must have more money than sense LOL
    I'm not that way reclined

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

Buy some cheap wallpaper in a sale, have a few practice goes yourself, the more you do it the easier it gets.

Surely it cant be 4m x 4m unless you have very very high ceilings, Thats about 13/14ft high. Ive never seen one 4m high yet. Think you'd better check.

Come back on here for help in how to do it, easy peasy.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

you don't have to be a painter to paint , but it's amazing the number of people who make a pigs ear of a straight forward operation ,if you take the house i was working on last year , just on the facia boards originaly hadn't had any of the knots treated and no primer , it's very easy to do a job right , but very hard to put right once it's been cocked up .... i won't go in to painting walls , but trust me , i've seen plenty of nightmares by people who think they know what they are doing , so for wallpapering , get someone who knows what they are doing .... trust me i'm a doctor , well decorator ;)
