Hi
I am not sure if this is the right place for this post, but hopefully someone can help me!!!!!
I am after old, out of date magazines, or just cheap magazines!
Fashion, design, interior... I am a student and the prices in the shops range from £3 to £30!
I know that there was a market stall in Chancery Lane market in London where the man sold old magazines for £1 but this was a few years ago and i can not remember what day of the week he is there! If any one knows this or knows any other market stalls around London that would be great!
Thank you x

Try charity shops they often sell old magazines for 20 - 50p0

Try Freecycle I am sure that a lot of people would be ahppy to give away any old magazines rather than binning them.1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480

Seconded Freecycle, You can get some good stuff from there.0

what about asking in your local doctor/dentist/clinic - maybe the reception could keep a pile back for you when they are about to chuck them out? Although judging by my doctors last week they keep them forever and they might be a bit germ-ridden!0

I agree, put an ad on Freecycle. If you lived anywhere near my (I'm in Scotland, alas) I'd jump at the chance to get rid of my tottering piles of mags to a good cause. Or you could ask round your local charity shops...mags usually cost 20-30p as has been said. Or jumble sales, or even go raking round the neighbourhood recycling boxes on recycling night? Where abouts are you based and how many do you need?Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0

Not sure how possible it is in London but car boot sellers often have piles of mags to get rid of.

I've used both of these, both are an excellent way of picking up and getting rid of stuff others might find useful. Have just got rid of a pile of craft mags to a new craft group!0 -
There are 'out of date magazine sellers' on Whitecross street market and also i think the lady is still there that sells them on Leather lane market. not sure what days though but whitrecross is pretty deffo Fridays. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
