New ppi claim with HSBC

Hi - I am considering trying to reclaim the PPI on my personal loan with the HSBC. At the time of taking the loan (and now) I have been working as an IT contractor. This is in effect a temporary form of employment, which I suspect make my insurance invalid if I tried to claim. The loan was taken out in 2005 for 25k and has 2 years to run. I took the out using their online advisors - and signed the forms in the branch. I can't recall if I was advised to take the ppi insurance out, or if the repayment quote included ppi.
Can anyone advise if they believe I have a case, and if so what do I do? I have read numerous threads with templates used and other means of getting the ball rolling. Any help would be really appreciated.

Mention is in your complaint but also mention that it was taken as a single premium, added to the mortgage and had interest charged on it as another reason.
