If you are actively looking for temporary work in the meantime, yes -JSA. Contributions based if you've paid enough NI in the last few years, otherwise (potentially) income based (which may be reduced due to your level of savings or if you have a partner)0

Do you have a partner?
if not then as long as your still actively seeking employment and would accept a job until your new one starts then you could make a claim for JSA.
If you have a partner the same applies but you will have needed to pay full NI conts for the last 2 full tax years to qualify for JSA conts.0 -
You can also claim HB/LHA/CTB until you start your job is you live alone and don't have savings.0
