as a rule of thumb, fish finger deals are usually just under 10p per fish finger

    'Tis a bit odd.

According to the fount of all knowledge; otherwise known as mySupermarket.com, the standard price for 30 pack of Birds Eye Cod fish fingers is £4.99, so goodness knows why anyone would pay a whole £5 for 24 Alaska Pollock fish fingers.

They're just making things up as they go along aren't they?

OMG...£5 for some fish fingers, that's stupid! It's almost as bad the 2 for £4 offer on pringles..£4 for some pringles, they are nice but certainly won't spend £4 on them...
Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,
Thanks to all who post the comps & please let the comping fairy sprinkle dust on my entries!

Sainsbury's meal deal - drink, crisps and a sandwich £3 wow.

Separately - Sandwich £1, Crisps 39p, drink 80p = £2.19 now how silly is that.

I was going to make the same point:

If the meal deal options you have bought are less than £3, you pay the total price. In the example you have purchased, it will cost you £2.19.

Usually, there are a a range of drinks, crisps and sandwiches included in the deal. I used to get that meal deal often when I worked their and the sandwiches I was buying on it retailed at between £2 and £3 on their own. :)

It's like Boots meal deals, I always get vitamin water when I get a meal deal as I like it, but it's really expensive. I always go for the more expensive options in the meal deals.
  • am same, was getting them to take to hospital when waiting around after hubby's ops, I always went for the duck/hoisin wraps or the prawn/crayfish 3 quid ones too :)

As long as at some point they were £5 Tesco are doing nothing wrong. At Christmas their frozen turkey was "half price" at £25. This was true because in August that same turkey had been £50, but I doubt they sold any and the £25 turkeys were probably the same ones.

Sorry but you are completely wrong. If they were £5 at some point then tesco are doing nothing illegal.

This does not mean it is not wrong, it just means the legal system has not got round to making it illegal.

You are just thinking that if they haven't said it is wrong then it must be right.
