Been really busy this morning, baked 2 loaves of bread, made cauli/cabbage/leek/celery soup.sounds disgusting, but actually VERY nice(also no ww points) off to make the yummy weetabix brownies in a minute and home made burgers for tea,so you could say I'm having a cooking day
Kids have their friends round for the day,so I don't have to do much entertaining there
Won't be going anywhere,so will be a NSD :j
Enjoy your day all

Tigger36 wrote::j Wonderful, slobby day with lots of hot tea, the internet, old films on TV, and cosy pyjamas. Haven't needed to spend anything and having a fab day. Just got my remortgage through so saving a fortune every month - the cards are all ripped up now and paid off and I'm finally at the stage of only owing £1000. A big difference from £11,000! Savings account has been set up and is ready to go and I'm finally feeling more like the old me. Wish me luck!
Best of luck sweetie and well done on getting the debts down! Keep it up! :T :T :TLeason learnt :beer:0 -

janiegs wrote:£15 in Tesco. Milk, butter, coffee, spaghetti hoops for child, coleslaw (to go with the stuff I have in my freezer), ibuprofen for my cold, some wrapping paper for a present for my best friends little lad, a 97p toy plane for the cold-ridden child I had to take with me, and £1.31 for some discontinued suncream for the child (Johnsons factor 40, perfect for nursery for the summer) and 4 cans of cider for me because it's Saturday, my husband is 100's of miles away, I have a cold and I feel sorry for myself. £10 came out of the grocery fund, and I put £5 towards it out of the spending money I have allowed myself for the week.
Sorry if this is too much information. Apart from the suncream and the wrapping paper, everything else was on the list I made before I left the house. I usually go round Tesco like I'm doing a trolley dash then stick it on the credit card, so this really is the start of my money saving.
Nothing is too much for us sweetie, you just keep it coming!
